We realized that the shed itself needs a shitload of work before we continue on the sets. So we got a huge fucking dumpster and filled it with all the old couches and bullshit that was consuming the shed inside and out.

We have been making great progress. Turning the shed into a workable area for a set has been a lot harder than we anticipated. but, shit's getting done. If things keep up, we might be shooting in a month.

Things we need for this set:
* A shitload of old-looking books
* A large rectangular dinner table
* Wood! Shelves, 2 by 4's, plywood, anything

The movie is called "The Mad Scientist." However, the scientist is not the lead character. This is one of many episodes in what will be a Neil Stryker series. So far, the movie is named after Neil Stryker's antagonist. This may not always be the case; the third Stryker project has a current working title of "The Return of Neil Stryker." He was last seen in Hell and returns to a time that is not his own, with super powers that he is still learning to control. Anyway, enough said about that. I've got this movie to worry about.

If it wasn't for my old high school buddy Efrem, I wouldn't be nearly as far along on the set as I am. He came out of nowhere and offered to help.

Right now we're not working on the whole movie--just one scene. The sooner we finish the sets, the sooner we can start shooting. If anyone is interested in helping with set building, please let us know. We need all the help we can get.

The plan is to shoot a scene and use it as a preview for potential investors. The scale for this film is leaps and bounds beyond that of 'Evil Cult.' Thus I can't rely on family and friends to fund the project. We need a producer that sees the potential of the movie and knows what to do with it to make sure it succeeds.

Preproduction has been slow and frustrating. When it comes to making a movie, I can really get the job done.
But building sets is difficult, especially when working in a shed with big gaping holes in it so the rain and cold get in.
